Check the Old Cover

Good condition? Leave it. Install right over it.

Cracked, torn, or rough? Flip the table section over and cut the old vinyl just inside the staple line. Pull it free — no need to remove every staple.

Pro Tip: If covering over the old vinyl, trim any damaged or sunken foam areas first for a smoother result.

Position & Center the Cover

Your cover ships inside out by design. Lay it face-down on a flat surface. Center the table cushion on top. Pull the vinyl snugly over each side — longest edges first, then the shorter ends. Confirm equal overhang on all sides before stapling.

Staple the Cover

Center of each side first. Pull taut. Staple every 1–2". Work to the corners. Fold each corner neatly — like wrapping a gift — before stapling flat. Trim excess vinyl.

Reinstall & Done

Flip the cushion back over and reinstall it onto the exam table frame. Press firmly to snap or slide into place. Wipe down the new vinyl with a clean cloth — your table is ready for use.
